Dundalk FM Membership

Dundalk Media Centre CLG is a media resource centre for community groups in the Dundalk area. We hold a licence from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland to operate a not-for-profit community radio station on 97.7 FM. The station commenced broadcasting in September 2004 and broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our studios at Partnership Court, Park Street, Dundalk.

We welcome annual membership from community groups, individuals and statutory organisations from the Dundalk area. Becoming a member is one of the most meaningful ways to support community radio and to play an active role in the future of Dundalk FM.

What You Gain as a Member

Membership of Dundalk FM comes with eight real and practical benefits.

1. Continued professional development training through internal Dundalk FM workshops, local partnership programmes and CRAOL community radio training.
2. The right to vote at the Annual General Meeting.
3. Eligibility to take part in sub-committees and stand for election as a Director on the Board of Dundalk Media Centre CLG.
4. The opportunity to submit a programme proposal for a broadcast slot on Dundalk FM.
5. Membership of a vibrant community radio network in Dundalk and County Louth.
6. Learn how to use the sound desk, portable recorder and audio editing software.
7. Improve your speech-making and presentation skills.

Membership Categories and Annual Fees

Annual membership runs from 1st September 2025 to 31st August 2026. The following categories and fees apply.

Individual – 30 euro per year
Family – 40 euro per year
Community Group – 30 euro per year

Payment can be made by Cash, Cheque, EFT or PayPal to payments@dundalkfm.ie.

We offer two membership categories depending on whether you are joining as an individual or on behalf of a community group or statutory organisation. Select the option that suits you and download your membership form.

Individual and Family Membership – for people joining as individuals or as a family unit.

Community Group and Statutory Membership – for community groups, voluntary organisations and statutory bodies in the Dundalk area.
