Through his leadership, dedication, and commitment to local people, Dundalk FM has provided a platform for community groups, charities, schools, musicians, volunteers, and local voices to be heard across the region.
Alan’s passion for community radio has helped create opportunities for countless volunteers, supported local initiatives, and strengthened connections throughout Dundalk and the wider North East. His work continues to ensure that Dundalk FM remains a welcoming, inclusive, and community focused station where everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and be heard.
5 Irish Tunes, is a monthly show in which guest contributors introduce their favourite Irish bands and singers and explain their reasons for each choice. It is a beautifully simple format that has produced personal and illuminating radio revealing as much about the guests as about the music itself.
5 Irish Tunes is broadcast on the fourth Saturday of the month at 3.00pm
