Dean Wright presents the Listening Lounge on Dundalk FM 97.7, a programme that does exactly what its name suggests: it creates a comfortable, unhurried space where good music can be heard properly.

The Listening Lounge airs on Thursday evenings at 7.00 pm, occupying a slot in the schedule where listeners are often winding down from the working day and in a mood for something that does not demand too much but delivers real quality. Dean’s show is the ideal companion for that moment: carefully chosen music, a relaxed presentation style, and an atmosphere of warmth and ease that makes the programme a genuine pleasure to settle into.

Dean has been part of the Dundalk FM volunteer community for a number of years, developing his presentation style and his musical instincts through the station’s training culture and through the simple act of doing it regularly. He was among the group of newer presenters who recorded a 5 Irish Tunes show during one of the station’s new volunteer evenings, beginning his Dundalk FM journey before graduating to his own regular programme.
