Margaret Mallon is one of the core voices behind Fadó Fadó on Dundalk FM 97.7, the station’s long-running celebration of interesting history and folklore of the Dundalk area that has been part of the schedule since the station’s earliest years.
Fadó Fadó airs on Monday evenings and brings the depth and beauty of the Irish musical tradition to Dundalk FM’s listeners in a way that feels warm, personal, and genuinely connected to the culture rather than merely presenting it from a distance. Margaret is part of the team alongside Michael Dowdall and Peter Kavanagh a group whose shared understanding and love of the repertoire gives the programme its distinctive character.
